Integrated Lifecycle

This is the first lifecycle that fully integrates Portfolio, Programme and Project lifecycles. We have taken the concepts from Management of Portfolios (MoP®), Managing Successful Programmes (MSP®), APM, PRINCE® and other sources of excellence and build them into a model that can be applied to any genre of initiative to provide a structured and consistent approach to delivery.

In the lifecycle we have taken the best of the ideas we have seen and built lifecycles that work for any initiative.

• Portfolio lifecycle is the most difficult as cyclic rather than linear but this lifecycle has worked effectively in a number of clients.
• Programme lifecycle has taken the ambiguity out of the MSP lifecycle and committed to a common set of stages and milestones that we have used in programmes as diverse as complex infrastructure and local authority welfare reform.
• Project lifecycle starts earlier than either APM or PRINCE2 as it has been proven that this is often where failure is born.

In each milestone in each lifecycle you can find specific actions for each role and each theme to enable the consistent delivery of each initiative to a defined standard.
